“As we look ahead into the next century, leaders will be those who empower others.”
—Bill Gates
At SGW Designworks, our leadership team is continually looking for opportunities to empower our clients, individuals within our company, and the business community at large. In line with this objective, SGW Designworks CEO Ryan Gray was nominated for and accepted into Forbes Business Council, an invitation-only community for successful business owners and leaders worldwide.
Currently, he is the only Idaho-based CEO on the Business Council (and one of only 21 Boise-based members of all of Forbes’ Councils). As an accepted member, Ryan has been invited to share his expert insights in original business articles on Forbes.com and to contribute to published Q&A panels alongside other experts.
Before being accepted into Forbes Business Council, Ryan was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of his experience. Criteria for acceptance include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.

“Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world,” said Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils, the collective that includes Forbes Business Council. “We are honored to welcome Ryan into the community.”
“My favorite aspect of Forbes Business Council is that it is made up of successful leaders that want to do more,” Ryan says. “By sharing the things we have learned (sometimes the hard way) with each other, council members will elevate one another. We will show each other how to get to the next level. I am excited to gain insight from other council members that will help my team realize their full potential.”
All of us on the SGW Designworks team are proud of Ryan and of this recognition, and we’re looking forward to reading his unique insights on Forbes.com. We will be sharing his published articles with you, our community, as they become available.
