SGW Designworks engineering a truly unique piece of equipment - the JetGo 900. The new system met new Tier-4 emissions standard, and stood our form the competition with a unique look and feature set.

Product Vision
AERO Specialties is a leader in the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) market. Their products are used in the operation of airports and air bases worldwide.
The company's existing lineup of JetGo ground power units already included a diesel hybrid variant. However, with new Tier-4 diesel emissions regulations, it was time to redesign the diesel JetGo with a completely new look and a new Tier-4 compliant power train.
GSE equipment is typically used and stored outdoors, and while users are skilled and well-trained, they are often rushed and under pressure. As one of these products, the JetGo would be subjected to a lot of abuse and would need to be designed accordingly. The user interface would need to be robust, and intuitive.
Final Outcome
SGW Designworks engineered the JetGo 900 for ultimate durability, with a look that sets the product apart from its competition.
The design of the JetGo 900 incorporates unique styling, effective thermal management, and integration of the diesel / electric power generation system as well as controls.
The product launched 14 months after the project's start, and it received a prestigious Good Design Award in 2019.
