Our engineering team uses the Solidworks electrical package to design wiring harnesses and plan cable runs. We often do this work as part of a larger project, but we also offer it as a standalone service.
Wire Harness Design
When you're ready to outsource your harness builds, you will need a complete and well thought-out design for quoting and production. Our engineering team can work from your existing prototypes or can start from scratch, collaborating with you to optimize for cost.
Cabinet Wiring Layout
Need to replicate a cabinet build? There is no substitute for a complete CAD and documentation package. We can reverse engineer an existing cabinet and document it for future builds, or we can work with you during a build so that you can replicate it indefinitely in the future - even if staff turns over in the meantime.
PLC Cable Design
PLC systems typically use a combination of purchased and custom cables. Our engineering team can document your existing cabling, or design new custom cables and harnesses for you.
Cable and Wire Harness Documentation
Typical outputs of a cable or harness design project include 3D CAD, 2D drawings, and a complete bill of materials (BOM). This is typically enough for your supplier to quote and build from. But if other information is needed, or if the shop would like to request changes, our team can make it happen.
